11 years later and this video is still helping people. My brother lives about 4 hours away, I tried explaining the concept to him while he was having issues with his burner, but he still didn’t get it so I sent him this and he was able to get a much better understanding than I could give. Thanks for taking the time to make this over a decade ago

Hi there, thanks for the tips about how this things work, I just bought my house and it has a oil furnace, but it just stared to release lots of hot steam with a little water, its more steam at high pressure, with just a little water, the water pressure gage reach 30psi super quick, right after the release valve opens, I don’t get why it just hot steam comes out but no much water, this furnace it’s used just to heat the house, no water leaks anywhere in the house. any ideas are welcome, thanks

I'm in a house with I didn't build... Lvp flooring with some area rugs. I'm running 115 and it seems close. It seems if I run lower I have higher chance of short cycling (residential tankless water heater) due to the isolation valve (not sure if that's what it's called but it's the one that relies on hydraulic shear to isolate loops)... I have the valve adjusted to bypass just enough to avoid ghost flow on loops not calling for heat. I inherited this system when I bought the house and have done my best to get it right with little information on what's actually there.

One of my business partners recently lost everything due to a house fire. I have attached the link to a go-fund me page to help with the cost of repairs and everything that was lost because it was a total-loss. If everyone chipped in anything they could, it would be greatly appreciated! Here is the link: gofund.me/a31f7e45

Video 11 years ago. Question why would my oil pump keep seizing when I get an oil delivery? Quarter of a tank left before delivery,Roth oil tank installed some years back, problems before getting tiger loop and now this. Thank you

Just bought a house built in 57. Removed a wall and upgrading from radiators to baseboard. Have 1” main supply lines with 1/2” monoflo tees that fed the radiator. I was going to re-use the existing lines but the 30 seconds of this video just saved me. I’ll use elbows for the baseboard to use 100% of the water flow.

I'm thinking of buying that compression piece to power blow whatever is clogging it out of the pipes. Last time it was tree roots. Thank you again!

Very good video, I have a question,I am going to do a fire pit and a BBQ grill on my backyard and my question is, can the gas and electricity lines go together so as not to dig another ditch? And I will need two gas lines if I am going to make a fire pit and a BBQ grill or just need one gas pipe ? the fire fit and the BBQ will be separated from each other 25 feet

Great video, it never occurred to me that a garden hose could reverse (suck) something back into the potable water supply. Also, I think breaker on a hot water heater will prevent damage to the tank in case of a vacuum. TY
